Coltrane-Webb Update for the Week of September 7th - September 11th
Hello Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary School Families,
We had an outstanding week at Coltrane-Webb culminating with the announcement that we Exceeded Expected Growth for the 25-26 school year! This is an amazing recognition of the hard work that our students and staff put in every single day!

September 7th Labor Day Holiday: No School For Students and Staff
There will be no school for students and staff tomorrow, Monday, September 7th for the Labor Day Holiday. Students will return to school on our regular schedule on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026.
NFL Spirit Day - Wednesday September 9th
To celebrate the start of NFL season we are going to have a Spirit Day this Wednesday, September 9th. Wear your favorite NFL team's jersey, shirt, and/or accessories to show off who you support!
Submitting Student Absences
If your student is absent, there are three ways you can notify us about this:
- Complete the CWES Online Student Absence Form
- Submit a handwritten and/or doctor's note to the front office
- Send a Parent Square message to your child's teacher
Mi Pueblo Spirit Night
Our first Spirit Night of September will take place on September 9th at Mi Pueblo Mexican Grill in Concord, near Target. Dine in or take out anytime from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Please be sure to tell the employee you are there to support Coltrane-Webb so that our school gets credit for your purchase! Also, note that for Spirit Nights, orders from Uber Eats, Door Dash, or on the website do NOT count for our school! Please make sure you DINE IN at the restaurant, call your order into the restaurant and pick up, or place a take out order inside of the restaurant. Thank you!
Instructional/Technology Fee
If you have not yet paid the CCS Instructional/Technology Fee, please take a moment to do so through the K12 Payment Center. This is a one time fee of $30 and it helps keep our student's Chromebooks up to date and fix any issues that may arise.
Positivity Project (P2)
This week for P2, students will learn about the character strength of "Open-Mindedness". This means being willing to consider new ideas and try new things. It involves looking at situations from all sides and not jumping to conclusions. Check out the parent newsletter to learn more.
