CWES Open House – August 10 from 5:00-7:00

Good Afternoon, Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary School families!  

This is a reminder that we will host an Open House next Monday, August 10th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  We are so excited to welcome you all to our new building!  Your child’s classroom teachers will be calling to introduce themselves by the end of the day on Friday, August 7th; therefore, families should arrive to Open House knowing their classroom teacher. Besides meeting your teachers, we have many exciting events and opportunities planned during this year’s open house.  Please see below for a comprehensive list of events. 

• Transportation Inquiries, Parent Square Support, Car Rider Tag Support – Gym 

• School Supply Giveaway - Media Center

• Medication Intake – Health Room in the Front Office

• School Registration - Front Office

• Lunch Applications & Cafeteria Fund Transfer – Cafeteria

• PTCO Volunteer Sign Up and Limited Spirit Wear Sales – Cafeteria 

• Boys and Girls Club Afterschool Sign Up - Cafeteria

New for this year will be our Car Rider Tag Pick-Up.  If your child will be a car-rider at any point this year, you will be receiving a car rider tag in your child's open house folder that will be with their teacher.  If you have multiple children attending CWES, you will only receive two Car Rider Tags.  If you have any follow-up questions about that, please visit our Car Rider Tag Support Table in the gym. 

Our school’s address is 61 Spring Street NW, Concord, NC 28025. Families are encouraged to park on our campus and on the streets around CWES unless signage notes that you cannot park there.  Please do not park in front of our neighbors' driveways to ensure they can enter and leave their homes.  We highly recommend families carpool if you are able to as that will reduce the amount of cars needing a place to park.
