Introducing Our New Assistant Principal, Mrs. Breann Johnson!

Good Evening Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary School Families,

I would like to take the opportunity to welcome our new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Breann Johnson, who will be joining Mrs. White and me as part of our administrative team.  For the last few years, she has been serving as an Assistant Principal at J.N. Fries Middle School.  Mrs. Johnson wanted to share a little bit about herself so you can get to know her:

"I am excited to serve the students and families of Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary School. I am originally from Lexington, where I currently live with my two children, Jai’Sean and Braelynn. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University and my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University.

I began my career in education as an elementary teacher and taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students for 10 years in Lexington City, Guilford County, and Cabarrus County Schools. For the past six years, I have served at J.N. Fries STEM Middle School as both the MTSS Coach and Assistant Principal.

In my free time, I enjoy streaming shows and movies, having brunch with friends, and spending time with family. I am excited to get to know and serve the families of Coltrane-Webb."
