We are gearing up for a fantastic week at Coltrane-Webb and I know we are all excited for it to be capped off on Friday with our Field Day!

Please take a few moments to review the important updates below:
Helping with Staff/Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4th - May 8th)
Our PTCO is excited to plan a week of appreciation to celebrate everything our CWES staff does for our students each day the week of May 4th - May 8th. They will be providing duty-free lunches for teachers on Tuesday, May 5th and Friday, May 8th, along with a taco/nacho bar for all staff on Friday. Families are invited to support by signing up to donate items or time by following this link, any contribution is truly appreciated. If you are making a monetary donation, please turn this in by Thursday, May 7th so that the PTCO can purchase items still needed on Thursday evening. All items will need to be turned in by Friday, May 8th at 10:00AM. Please LABEL all items with “Staff Lunch.”
End of the Year Library Book Return Reminders
This is a reminder that the last day for students to check out books is May 1 and all books must be returned by May 8. If a book is lost or damaged, payment can be made by cash, check, or through K12Payment Center. Please take time to check common places like book bags, cars, and bedrooms, as well as those easy-to-forget spots around the house where books may be tucked away. Thank you so much for helping us to ensure all library books are returned back to the our media center.

Please be sure to tell the employee you are there to support Coltrane-Webb so that our school gets credit for your purchase! Also, note that for Spirit Nights, orders from Uber Eats, Door Dash, or on the website do NOT count for our school! Please make sure you DINE IN at the restaurant, call your order into the restaurant and pick up, or place a take out order inside of the restaurant. Thank you!
2025-2026 PTCO Recruitment
The Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary PTCO is looking for new parents and guardians to join us for the 2026–2027 school year, and no prior experience is needed. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference for both our students and teachers while helping shape exciting traditions as we open our brand-new school building this August. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your ideas, voice, and support can help strengthen our classrooms, enrich student experiences, and build a connected school community. We would love for you to be part of this exciting new chapter at Coltrane-Webb! If you are interested, please email CWPTCO@gmail.com.
Positivity Project (P2)
Next week for P2, our students will learn about the character strength "Purpose". This means having beliefs about the meaning of life and feeling that your life has a purpose. Check out the parent newsletter to learn more.
I hope you have a great Sunday and we will see you tomorrow!
