Posted Date: 03/15/26 (03:00 PM)

The Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary School Mascots, Zougar and Zoey.
Hello Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary School Families,

I hope you all have had an enjoyable and relaxing Spring Break. We are looking forward to seeing our students come back tomorrow.

Follow this link to the video version of our Weekly Update that we recorded at our new building :).

Please take a few moments to review the important updates below:

Spring Pictures (3/16) and Group Picture Makeups (3/20)

Our Spring Pictures will take place on tomorrow, March 16th.  Students received order forms from their teachers.  If you are interested in purchasing them, please complete and return the form to your child's teacher by the day of the photos. Payment information can be found on the form.

We also want to let you know that we will be retaking our recent class pictures due to concerns about the overall photo quality. After reviewing the images, we were not satisfied with how they turned out and felt our students and families deserve better.  Class picture retakes will take place on Friday, March 20. All students will participate in the retake to ensure we have a high-quality class photo for purchase and school records.  If your child was absent on the original picture day, this will also serve as their opportunity to be included.  All previous orders will be honored.

If you have any questions about either picture day, please contact the front office.

2025-2026 PTCO Recruitment

The Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary PTCO is looking for new parents and guardians to join us for the 2026–2027 school year, and no prior experience is needed. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference for both our students and teachers while helping shape exciting traditions as we open our brand-new school building this August. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your ideas, voice, and support can help strengthen our classrooms, enrich student experiences, and build a connected school community. We would love for you to be part of this exciting new chapter at Coltrane-Webb!  If you are interested, please email CWPTCO@gmail.com

Positivity Project (P2)

Next week for P2, our students will learn about the other people mindset of  "Identifying and Appreciating The Good In Others".  It's important to deliberately work to identify and appreciate others' character strengths.  It's not always easy to notice people's strengths, but it's something we should all practice.  Check out the parent newsletter to learn more.

I hope you have a great Sunday and we will see you tomorrow!
