The Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary School Mascots, Zougar and Zoey.

Good Afternoon Coltrane-Webb Families,

Cabarrus County Schools has announced a REMOTE LEARNING DAY for students on Wednesday February 4th due to the unsafe travel conditions throughout the district.  Please refer to the remote learning packet in your child's take-home folder for them to work on.  In the event that your students do not have a remote learning packet in their folders, please reach out to their teachers over ParentSquare, DOJO, or email so they can send you a screenshot of the work or an alternative option for them to complete. As a reminder, for students to be counted as PRESENT on remote learning days, they must bring their completed assignments and turn them in to their teacher within the next five regular school days.  If you are impacted by power outages, students will have five days from returning to school.

If you have any questions or need any assistance with the remote learning work, your child's teacher will be available through ParentSquare, DOJO or email.

  • KIDS:PLUS will not operate on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026.
  • All extracurricular, athletic, and community use events have been canceled for Wednesday, February 4th, 2026.
  • All Coltrane-Webb staff should report to the Finance Department Website for reporting instructions.

The safety of our students and staff is always our first priority.  I hope everyone is staying warm and safe.

Have a good afternoon,

Chris Balga
Principal
